Title: Our Rules Post by: GsW Shaka on May 22, 2008, 06:10:44 PM Attendance: Be available for 80-90% of the clan’s scheduled match/training times. It's what GsW roster is built around, and considerable deviation from this will cause problems. If you cannot commit that much, GsW probably isn't for you (unless, of course, you've made arrangements with leaders to the contrary). Bring it to US. If you have a problem with a player on the team, bring it to the leaders (Shaka, Os7il and 1mPr3zA) privately first. Do not go directly to the player, or comment behind the person's back. Find solutions to the problems you see. Observing problems is the first step to something constructive. From there, one can either complain about it, or try to help fix it. Be positive and proactive, rather than negative and reactive. Be courteous, respectful, and patient with your playmates. We've always done just fine in terms of the speed of our progression with the formula we have. And our formula, or culture, if you will, is one of tolerance over discipline. We have differing levels of ability in this group and always will. No clan is ever made up completely of superstars. If you think you're one of those superstars, find a constructive way to help others better their play. If you're a player that thinks their play can be better, find constructive ways to ask for help. Along these lines, things like calling people out for a match loss, or what their mom does for a living are not helpful. In fact, not only are things such as these not helpful, they are incredibly destructive. Far more so than the actual "bad event" itself. Be there for your friends, just as you'd ask them to be there for you. Participation. You should enjoy the games as a whole, and plan to continue playing for some time to come. We are not interested in a hired guns who logs on for a match, logs off after, and is never seen except for another match. Aside from putting time into training, you should be interested in being a part of the GsW and its communities (main site, forum, sections) in general. Other games. GsW is a multi-gaming clan and as such our members may want to, and are expected to try out other games. If a GsW Gaming player (leader or not) wants to establish a squad in a new game, the first step would be to post about it in the special section of the forum. Those interested in playing should reply in timely manner. The final decision however, will be made by the Leaders who will take into consideration everything posted there. Should the new section be approved by the Leaders, person that requested the new game will automatically become a Chief of that section. As a Chief, it will be his responsibility to organize trainings, matches and recruits. Having that said, it is also expected of the other member of the section to take the direct involvement with the organization and logistics. In case the member who submitted the original application for the new game doesn’t want to be a leader, or wants to step down from the leadership position, it will be his responsibility to find the suitable replacement.
